Human-formulated CBD oils at 1500 mg or 3000 mg in a 30 mL bottle put far more CBD in a single drop than the 150 mg and 300 mg pet sizes do.

Community-shared starting points seen across the pet supplement space — not prescriptive dosages — generally fall in the range of 0.1–0.2 mg CBD per pound of body weight for dogs and around 0.1 mg per pound for cats. These are community reference numbers only; we do not prescribe them. Your veterinarian is the right person to set your pet's specific regimen.

Administration options: directly into the mouth using the included dropper, mixed into wet food, or applied to a treat. The unflavored formula works with both of these approaches.

Every batch of pet oil gets a total-THC COA from an accredited third-party laboratory before it ships. Testing covers: cannabinoid potency (confirming CBD mg/mL as labeled), residual solvents, heavy metals, and pesticide screening. Is hemp CBD safe for dogs and cats?

Research on cannabinoids in companion animals is still developing. The ASPCA and veterinary literature note that THC is toxic to dogs and cats — this product contains hemp CBD with delta-9 THC below 0.3% by dry weight, which is the federal hemp standard. Many pet owners use hemp CBD as a supplement, but we are not able to make safety or efficacy claims. Consult your veterinarian before use. Individual results vary.

Will this product cause intoxication in my pet?

Hemp CBD on its own is not classed as intoxicating in research literature on adult humans, and this product is below 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight per batch COA. That said, pets are generally more sensitive to THC than humans at equivalent body-weight doses, and we cannot make safety claims for your specific animal. Do not give pets human-use, full-spectrum products with meaningful THC content. If your pet shows signs of distress after any supplement, contact a veterinarian.
