Pectin — the structural fiber found in apples and citrus peels — is the gelling agent that holds the gummy together instead. Why Pectin Instead of Gelatin
Most commercial gummies — candy and cannabinoid alike — are built on gelatin, which is a collagen protein extracted from animal skin, bones, and connective tissue. We use fruit pectin. Pectin gels differently from gelatin (it needs acid and sugar to set; gelatin just needs cooling), and once you learn how to work with it the texture is firmer, the snap is cleaner, and the fruit flavor carries through more cleanly without a meaty under-note.
The practical reason we made the switch years ago: a large share of our wholesale customers asked for it, and once we were running pectin batches for them, keeping two production lines did not make sense. Everything is pectin now. It is a decision we do not regret.

Made with hemp extract from Colorado labs we trust, formulated and finished in Louisville, Kentucky. The cannabinoid distillate or isolate is blended into the pectin base in small batches in Louisville. Every batch gets a total-THC COA. How Our Vegan Pectin Recipe Differs from Other Hemp Gummies
Most hemp gummies you will find on a shelf are still gelatin-based, and a handful of "vegan" hemp gummies on the market use a pectin recipe that leans heavily on corn syrup to compensate for the firmer pectin set. Our recipe avoids corn syrup entirely, uses fruit-juice-based colors instead of synthetic dyes, and runs the pectin set at a moisture content that keeps the gummy firm at room temperature without going chalky. The result is a candy texture that lines up with what customers expect from a non-cannabinoid pectin candy, with the cannabinoid dose distributed evenly through the slab before cutting.

Are these gummies suitable for someone allergic to soy or nuts?
The recipe contains no soy and no tree nuts as direct ingredients. The Louisville facility processes other products that may contain those allergens, so we cannot certify a zero-cross-contact environment. Anyone with a serious allergy should email us with the specific concern before ordering.
What is the shelf life on a sealed bag?
Twelve months from the manufacture date printed on the bottle, stored in a cool, dark place. Once opened, finish within six months for peak flavor and texture. The cannabinoid content remains stable longer than the gummy texture does.
