CBD Live Resin

Hemp is freeze-dried before extraction while still fresh to generate CBD live resin. All other CBD wax extraction processes employ hemp air-dried and cured. When hemp is frozen first, more cannabinoids and terpenes are preserved, resulting in what many believe to be the pinnacle of different forms of CBD wax, which is why it’s usually the most expensive choice.

CBD Isolate

CBD isolate powder is the purest form of CBD. It is 99% pure CBD with any THC or other minor cannabinoids. A pure CBD dab that goes through the most amount of extraction.

Isolate vs. full-spectrum vs. broad-spectrum CBD wax

Full-spectrum CBD wax

Full-spectrum CBD products include all of the natural compounds found in hemp, including the several types of cannabinoids and terpenes mentioned earlier. Each plant has a unique mix, resulting in a distinct surrounding impact.

How is CBD wax made?

Butane Hash Oil (BHO) Extraction

CO2 Extraction

One of the most popular processes for manufacturing CBD wax is CO2 extraction. It extracts cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids using pressurized carbon dioxide. The CO2 turns supercritical using high pressure and heat, which means it behaves like a liquid and a gas, thus the term “supercritical CO2 extraction.”

Any CO2 that remains in the concentrate after extraction, unlike butane, evaporates. This produces CBD wax that’s purer than those made with butane, ensuring that users are not consuming any residual solvents along with their CBD.

Can CBD wax make you fail a drug test?

In principle, obtaining a false positive on a drug test with CBD oil containing less than 0.3% THC should be nearly impossible. However, because CBD oil is not extensively regulated, there is no guarantee that a product includes pure CBD oil or that the concentration is safe or effective.
